What is JADE?

The Jewish Association for Death Education (JADE) is a nonprofit organization that provides education, guidance and support for the Jewish community, by offering access to, and delivering Jewish wisdom about the end-of-life continuum. JADE provides accessible resources such as online tools and classes, along with opportunities to explore rituals, customs, and stories through community conversations.

JADE is dedicated to providing clear, compassionate resources on Jewish practices around death, mourning, and end-of-life care. We offer learning grounded in Jewish tradition while welcoming people of all backgrounds, levels of knowledge, and personal experiences.
